Reflections on Prayers
This section will discuss several prayers over a period of time. The first prayer review will focus upon the Twelve Year Prayers of Saint Bridget of Sweden. Historically, this is a complex arrangement of prayers offered to St. Bridget by Jesus Himself. The set of 12 prayers were pronounced “Authentic” by Pope Clement XII. The entire set of prayers must be every day for 12 consecutive years. Jesus told St. Bridget that the person who completes the entire 12 years will receive five graces. The entire sequence must be fully prayed for 12 consecutive years, all 365 days per year. If he misses one day for a good reason, he can say it twice the next day.
